The Meltdown That Changed Everything

It was one of those days. You know the ones—where everything feels too much, too loud, too overwhelming. I was having a full-blown meltdown in the middle of a garden centre when a bright, cheeky parrot caught my eye.

That parrot didn't judge me. It didn't tell me to calm down or pull myself together. It just looked at me with those knowing eyes, tilted its head, and somehow... I felt seen. In that moment, I remembered something I'd forgotten: animals have always been my therapy, my safe place, my healing.

The Dream I'd Always Carried

For as long as I can remember, I've wanted to build something of my own. Not just a job, but a business. A space where I could connect with people who understand that our pets aren't just animals—they're family, they're healers, they're the ones who love us unconditionally on our hardest days.

I wanted to be a mum boss—to create something meaningful while being present for my family, to build a community of pet lovers who get it, who feel that same deep bond with their furry (or feathered!) companions.

And So, Mumma & Co. Was Born

That parrot moment was my turning point. I realized I could combine my love for animals, my creative spirit, and my dream of running my own online business into something beautiful: custom pet portraits that celebrate the incredible bond between pets and their people.
